"Gnomes on the Trail" scavenger hunt scheduled during Nordic Fest

 A new event will be taking place in conjunction with this year's Nordic Fest celebration. "Gnomes on the Trail," a free scavenger hunt for all ages, will run from Wednesday through Saturday.

10 gnomes will be hiding all along the Trout Run Trail, enjoying the scenery and watching for passing bikers and walkers. Using a map and clues, participants see how many they can find while also experiencing some of the treasures and highlights of the Trout Run Trail.

All participants will be eligible for raffle prizes.  Additional prizes will be awarded in several photo contest categories.  

Maps and additional materials will be available at Nordic Fest headquarters at the Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce beginning Tuesday.
