North Winneshiek will share its school nurse with the Decorah School District

The North Winneshiek School Board has approved a nurse sharing agreement with the Decorah School District. 

Under the agreement, Decorah will purchase one day per week from North Winneshiek for the nursing services of Andrea Homstad.  A new law was passed this legislative session which will give schools supplemental funding for staffing positions which are shared between schools.  
 
In other health-related action, the North Winneshiek School Board has updated the school district's anti-tobacco and anti-nicotine policy to include fake and look-a-like tobacco products.
