Gundersen CEO honored by White House

Gundersen Health System CEO Dr. Jeff Thompson has been honored by the White House as a "Champion of Change" in the area of climate and health. Thompson was one of only 11 people nationwide to receive the award.

Thompson was recognized for his leadership in environmental stewardship for healthcare organizations. Under his leadership, Gundersen is poised to become energy independent in 2014.
