Keep those tree branches trimmed!

The Decorah City Street Department is reminding the public of the requirement to keep tree branches trimmed back on sidewalks and streets.

City ordinances require at least eight feet of clearance over a sidewalk and 14 feet of clearance over a street.

City street crews have been trimmed back branches near stop signs and other other signs.  They're asking property owners to do the same at their property.
