Decorah woman receives 16-year prison sentence in meth case, but sentence is suspended

A Decorah woman has been sentenced for her involvement in an alleged meth lab at 610 1/2 Maple Avenue in February.

29-year-old Zonanne Olson was sentenced to 10 years in prison on a charge of conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine; five years in prison on a charge of possession of a precursor to methamphetamine; and one year in prison on a charge of possession of methamphetamine.

But the judge suspended the prison sentence on the condition that Olson enter substance abuse counseling and follow all of its recommendations.  Olson will be on probation for up to five years.
