A Flash Flood Watch for Winneshiek County and much of Northeast Iowa has now expired.
The National Weather Service Office in La Crosse says scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible across much of the region on Wednesday, especially during the afternoon and evening hours. The storms could produce large hail, damaging winds and locally heavy rain.
However, the chance of rain is forecast at 40 percent and the National Weather Service says no heavy rainfall is expected after Wednesday.
