City, county officials concentrating on gathering storm damage reports

Winneshiek County and the City of Decorah would like to apply for financial assistance from the State of Iowa to help with the clean-up from this past weekend's flooding.

But City of Decorah and Winneshiek County officials say that in order to have a best chance of getting help, their application must have as complete a list as possible of property damage caused by the flooding.

If you sustained any type of flood or storm damage, p[lease contact Winneshiek County Emergency Management at (563) 382-7983.  Please leave your name, phone number, and address on the message, as well as any report of damage you suffered. This will allow for information to be forwarded to the state.
