UPDATE: High water threatening some Decorah homes

The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Warning for the Upper Iowa River at Decorah.  The Flood Warning is in effect until Monday afternoon.

The flood stage for the Upper Iowa River is 9.5 feet.  At 12:45 p.m. Sunday, the river was at 12.69 feet.

The National Weather Service says the high waters could impact residential areas on the west side of Decorah.  In addition, some flooding of farm fields will occur.
