HSNEI begins "9 Lives for $9" cat adoption promotion

Starting Friday and running through the rest of June, you can adopt a cat from the Humanne Society of Northeast Iowa for $9 during the special "9 Lives for $9," adoption promotion.
 
Go to the HSNEI website, www.hsnei.org , to see adoptable cats and adolescent kittens (age 9 months or older) which have been rescued by HSNEI.  The "9 Lives for $9" promotion is being conducted across the United States, supported by the national animal welfare organization Best Friends Animal Society, with additional funding from PetSmart Charities®.

Said HSNEI President Kim Powell, "Every day 9,000 animals are killed in shelters simply because they don't have homes. Just by adopting a cat or two, everyone can be part of the nationwide movement to end the killing of adoptable, treatable animals."
