Decorah bald eagle D-1 is on the move again

Decorah bald eagle "D1" is on a mission!

Her first summer, in 2011, she flew to northern Minnesota and northern Wisconsin before returning to NE Iowa at the first of the new year.  This last summer, in 2012, she spent three months in Polar Bear Provincial Park on Hudson Bay in Canada before returning to the Decorah area in late fall. 

This year she hung around until a few days ago and now is clearly making her way to somewhere up north. 

Is she heading back to Polar Bear Provincial Park?  Raptor Resource Project Director Bob Anderson says his group will continue to monitor D1's movements.
