On Monday night the Decorah Community School Board approved a number of routine summer contracts. These included:

• Approval of the Wyalusing 28E agreement to provide services via the Crossroads Academy. There was virtually no change to previous agreements, with $101/student/day as the given rate.

• Approval of agreement to house Head Start at the West Side facility.

• Approval of a bid for bakery products with Pan-O-Gold Bakery, the previous provider and lowest bidder.

• Approval of a milk bid with Anderson Erickson, the previous provider and lowest bidder.

• Instructional fees for 2013-14 were approved. The only change in fees included an increase of lunch prices by 10 cents, and increase of breakfast fees by 5 cents.

• Approval of agreement to provide breakfast and lunch for students at St. Ben's.

The Board also set July 15, 6:00 p.m., and 6:05 p.m. as times for public hearings regarding the purchase of SmartBoards and television sets. The board is expected to approve bids on those items later in the July 15 meeting.
