Decorah woman is raising funds for cancer research by doing the Susan G. Komen 60-mile walk in Chicago

A Decorah woman, Debbie Smith, has begun raising money for breast cancer research as part of her participation in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day 60-Mile Walk in August in Chicago.

In addition to taking pledges for each mile she will walk over the three days, she is holding a quilt raffle, with tickets $2 apiece and a drawing August 2nd.  Tickets are available at Eclips Salon and Day Spa or by contacting Debbie Smith at (563) 382-2878. 

Donations to the Susan G. Komen Walk can be sent to Debbie Smith at 1105 S. Mechanic Street in Decorah.
