Luther College has announced details of its 2013-2014 Center Stage Series, which will run from September 14th through April 4th.
Performances will range from classic theater to contemporary dance, with musical performances that will range from brass and string ensembles to traditional Arabic jazz.
Ring of Fire: The Music of Johnny Cash September 14th
Rather than doing a straight-up Cash impersonation, a company of performers will perform such classics as "I Walk the Line," "Folsom Prison Blues" and "A Boy Named Sue."
Weiss Kaplan Newman Trio September 27th
The piano trio's Center Stage program will highlight Luther's newly refurbished nine-foot Steinway piano with an all-Beethoven bill.
Tango Fire October 15th

Masters of the Fiddle: Natalie MacMaster & Donnell Leahy November 1st
