Oneota Co-op's meat and seafood department wins national award

The Oneota Community Food Co-op's meat and seafood department has been recognized as a 2012 top performer by the National Cooperative Grocers Association.

Co-op Grocery Manager and Meat/Seafood Buyer, Kristin Evenrud, commented, "This award means a lot to the Co-op.  We put a lot effort and time working with our local meat producers to provide a variety of fresh and frozen meat options that are humanely raised and free of antibiotics and growth hormones.  We are thrilled to have won this award two years in a row."
