Heavy rains have hit the Decorah area this week, but the area has, for the most part, been able to avoid flooding problems.
The National Weather Service Office in La Crosse says there's a chance for more heavy rain from 2:00 p.m. until midnight Friday. A few thunderstorms may become severe and produce damaging winds, large hail, and isolated tornadoes.
River Flood Warnings are in effect for the Turkey River--but farther downstream at Elkader and Garber and for the Upper Iowa River--but again downstream at Dorchester.
