Decorah Lions Club members get a preview of the 2013 Winneshiek County Fair

Members of the Decorah Lions Club have heard from Winneshiek County Agricultural Association board president Gary Schutte about this year's Winneshiek County Fair.

Improvements at thefairgrounds include a new music shelter near the grandstand, a new cementwalkway for livestock exhibitors and additional handicap access ramps andpaths.

Highlights of this year's fair will be the skid loader rodeo, the hobby shopcreations contest, food contests, the "Bill Riley Talent Show", the "LittleTexas" grandstand show, stock car races, the tractor pull, a rodeo and themidway.

The price for a button purchased in advance will be $16, an increase of just$1.
