Two high school seniors receive Adam Bohr Scholarships

The family of Decorah native Adam J. Bohr and McClure Engineering Company have given two graduating high school seniors the third annual Adam J. Bohr Scholarship.

The $1,000 scholarships were awarded based on scholastic standing, community involvement, extra-curricular activities and a short essay as to why the individual plans to study engineering.  

Decorah High School senior Kyle Hosting was awarded one scholarship.  He plans to study engineering at Saint Thomas University in St. Paul, Minnesota.
  
Iowa City West High senior Christopher Thomas was awarded the other scholarship.  He will be attending Iowa State University to study engineering.

Adam J. Bohr was a 1993 graduate of Decorah High School.  He became well known and respected throughout the North Liberty/Coralville/Iowa City Area as he developed his career with McClure Engineering Company.  He was the Regional Manager for MEC's Eastern Iowa Office located in North Liberty.
