St. Benedict's School eighth grade students got to spend three days at Eagle Bluff Environmental Center near Lanesboro, Minnesota recently.
Students learned about teamwork, built self-confidence, and took a number of classes. For instance, "Group Challenges" asked students to work together to solve problems, such as moving the entire group from one platform to a second platform then and third platform with two 2 x 4s, even though neither was long enough to reach all the way to the second platform.
Other classes included Tree Tops High Ropes, Eagle Bluff Olympics, GPS Pathfinders, Raptors, Archery, Whitetails and Campfire.
The trip was organized and led by St. Ben teachers Colleen Wetli and Judy Franzen.
