"Kiss a Pig" Contest so far has raised $20,000 in donations to the American Cancer Society

The American Cancer Society's chapters in Winneshiek County and Chickasaw County will each be getting donations of at least $10,000 because of the "Kiss a Pig" contest.

Eight "lucky" contestants from Winneshiek and Chickasaw counties kissed a pig Friday morning--KVIK's Nell Halverson, Decorah Bank & Trust's Ben Grimstad, Rockweiler Appliance's Dean Rockweiler, Decorah Chevrolet-Cadillac's Kelly Bachelder, Lynch Livestock's Gary Lynch, NICC's Dr. Liang Chee Wee, Farmers Mill of Protivin's Dennis Meirick, Citizens Savings Bank of Spillville's Gerry Weiand and the American Caccer Society's Sarah Foster.

The "Kiss a Pig" contest is held to raise money and to help publicize the upcoming Relay for Life, which will be held Saturday, June 8th, at the Decorah High School football stadium.  For more details, visit www.relayforlife.org/winneshiekcountyia
