The Decorah Master Gardeners are leading a new effort this spring to take care of the gardens and grounds at the Porter House Museum.
On Monday night they got help from members of Decorah's Boy Scout Troop 66. The scouts and the master gardeners raked up leaves, dug in the gardens and straightened out the look of the property.
The Master Gardeners will lead one more volunteer effort at Porter House--Saturday starting at 9:00 a.m. If you'd like to help, please bring your own garden tools.
