DHS students win awards at art show

Several Decorah High School art students have won awards at the Northeast Iowa High School Art Show.

Melanie Gossman took first place in Drawing 3: Charcoal and Conte with her charcoal still life. Faith Vilardo garnered first place in Drawing 2: Pen
and Ink, Pencil and Ink with her "Broadway Italianate". Charlie Baldwin won
second place in Drawing 2 with his ink-patterned "Polaroid", and Madi
Sparrow took third place in Drawing 2 with a profile portrait in pen and ink
titled "Darbie".
