Chef Andy Bonnet of Rubaiyat restaurant in Decorah and Chef Justin Scardina of La Rana restaurant in Decorah have been honored as among the country's best chefs.
The two Decorah chefs are featured in the inaugural edition of "Best Chefs America." Chefs featured in the guide were chosen through extensive interviews with fellow chefs and Best Chefs America writers. Chefs earning the highest scores among their peers in their region were included in the guide.
"I'm thrilled to be nominated by my peers," stated Bonnet.
The coffee-table format book is broken down geographically and alphabetically. It lists the nation's top 4,700 chefs and their corresponding restaurants.
