Decorah recognized with Tree City USA award

The National Arbor Day Foundation and the Forestry Bureau of the Iowa Department of Natural Resources have presented the 2012 Tree City USA award to the City of Decorah.

State Forester Paul Tauke congratulated Decorah for its commitment to the management of public trees.

Decorah was one of 89 Iowa communities to be recognized with the Tree City USA award. It is the tenth year Decorah has earned this national recognition.
