Winneshiek County Sheriff's Deputies were called to two traffic accidents Sunday.

Around 1:00 a.m. Waukon resident Brandi Folson lost control of her car on 185th Avenue south of Ossian near 132nd Street.  Her car rolled into the ditch, but Folson drove away from the scene of the accident.  She later returned to the accident scene and was questioned after not reporting the accident.  Folson was cited for failure to maintain control, possession of tobacco and striking fixtures on a roadway.

Shortly before 8:00 p.m. David Shinault lost control of his car two miles south of Calmar on Highway 150 near the NICC dairy barn.  His car entered the west ditch and rolled over.  Shinault suffered minor cuts, but was not taken to the hospital.  He was ticketed for failure to maintain control of his vehicle.
