A big day for the Nordic Choir in Des Moines

Members of Luther College's Nordic Choir had a busy day at the State Capitol in Des Moines on Wednesday.

The choir sang the national anthem for the convening ceremonies of both the Iowa House and Senate Wednesday morning.  The appearance was in recognition of "Iowa Private College Day."

The Nordic Choir also gave a performance in the Capitol Rotunda.  Afterwards, State Representative Roger Thomas posed with members of the Nordic Choir, as well as with Luther College President Rick Torgerson with his wife Judy and Director of Choral Activities Allen Hightower..
