Good Shepherd Church begins Taize prayer services starting Thursday

Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 701 Iowa Avenue, will be holding monthly Prayer Around the Cross services beginning in April. The service will be at 6:30 p.m. on the first Thursday of each month, beginning Thursday, April 4. These simple and contemplative services involve a few readings; simple, repeated chants; and time for quiet prayer around the cross. The service uses many songs from the Taizé Community, an ecumenical monastic order in Taizé,France. Everyone is welcome.
