Decorah bookstore hires Event Coordinator

Decorah bookstore Dragonfly Books has hired a new Events Coordinator.

The expansion is taking place because Dragonfly Books has hosted over 30 guest authors including local, regional, and international authors in its first two years of operation. "Our events have grown to the point that we needed someone who could focus more exclusively on recruiting and organizing our events," said Dragonfly Books owner Kate Rattenborg.

The new Events Coordinator is Kate Scott, who most recently served as the Director of the Oneota Film Festival.  She worked previously as an event coordinator at Northshire Bookstore in Manchester, Vermont.
