Decorah Park-Rec again renting space at Community Garden

The City of Decorah will again offer gardening space this year at the community gardens located across the dike on Second Street. 

Garden plots are 20 feet by 20 feet (400 square feet).  They rent for $25 per plot.  Water and mulch are included in the rental price.

Rental requests will be taken starting Monday at the Decorah Park-Rec. Office at City Hall.  A rental agreement must be signed and payment made when reserving your plot.  In addition to the $25 payment, all renters must pay a $20 clean-up deposit.  The clean-up deposit may be picked up in in the fall if your plot is cleaned satisfactorily.  If paying by check for both plot fee and clean-up fee, write two separate checks.
