Wicks Construction wins Ft. Dodge road project bid

A Decorah firm has won the contract for a road project in Fort Dodge.

Wicks Construction will rebuild North 23rd Streetin Ft. Dodge.  The project will repave the street surface between 10th Avenue North and Elmhurst Avenue.  The project will also include new storm sewer work and new curbs and gutters. Wicks Construction submitted the low bid for the project, a bid of $288,711.60.  The work is scheduled to be done by August 1st.
