Park-Rec Board to meet with design firms for recreation center

The Decorah Parks & Recreation Commission will take an important step this week towards the possible construction of a recreation center in Decorah.

The board has interviews scheduled with four design firms being considered for the recreation center.  Two of those interviews will take place Tuesday night, with two more on Thursday night.  Both days' meetings will begin at 6:15 at Decorah City Hall.  Thursday night's Park-Rec Board meeting will also include a review of the work done so far by the committee searching for a new Park-Rec Director.
