Three NICC students from Decorah do well at state conference

Three Decorah residents who are business students at NICC did so well at the state level business skills competition that they are eligible to compete at the National BPA Leadership Conference in Orlando, Florida in May..
 
William Sayasenh of Decorah finished first in "Small Business Management Team" and third in "Entrepreneurship."

Bleys Simmonds of Decorah finished first in "Small Business Management Team" and received an honorable mention in "College Accounting."

Haley Eggers of Decorah finished in fourth place in "Business Meeting Management" and received honorable mentions in "College Accounting," "Database Applications" and "Insurance Concepts."

The Calmar Business Professional Association  chapter at NICC has been active since 1968. The chapter also received a certificate for Quality Chapter Distinction and recognition for its participation in raising funds for Special Olympics, BPA's official service project at the spring conference.
