The jury trial of 23-year-old Daniel Wildman of Cresco, who is accused of shooting a 12-gauge shotgun at a group of people outside a house in Calmar last October, has been delayed again.
Wildman faces five criminal charges, including three counts of attempted murder. A trial on those charges had been scheduled for Wednesday, but was postponed because an expert witness had a conflict.
The trial is now scheduled for April 17th. Wildman has asked for a speedy trial and the expert witness can come to Decorah on April 17th, so there's a fair chance the trial will be held when scheduled.
Wildman is currently being held in jail on a $225,000 bond.
