St. Benedict's School students take part in a food fast

St. Benedict School eighth graders participated in Catholic Relief Service's Food Fast on Thursday and Friday last week.

Students experienced 24 hours without food, while learning about Catholic Social Teaching, Global Solidarity, hunger, and poverty. 

The retreat included prayer, movie clips, discussion, and cooperative activities illustrating service and justice and incorporating teamwork.
