Deadline is Friday to apply for free mammogram screenings

Winneshiek County Celebration of Life, in cooperation with Winneshiek Medical Center and Gundersen Clinic—Decorah, is offering free mammogram screenings to under-insured or uninsured women on Thursday, April 18th.  The deadline for applying for one of the mammograms is this Friday, March 22nd.

All free screenings are awarded based on financial need.  The simple seven-question applications are available on-line at www.winneshiekcol.com and in person at Margaret's Clothing, Winneshiek Medical Center and Gundersen Clinic.  Completed applications need to be dropped off a Margaret's Clothing in Decorah by Friday.  Applications can also be mailed to P.O. Box 314, Decorah—also by Friday.
