Winneshiek Medical Center's Board of Trustees has unanimously approved a 2013-2014 budget which projects $88 million in revenues. After write-offs and adjustments, that figure will be reduced to $56 million dollar.
The budget for next year represents an 11.6 percent increase in revenues. The hospital expects to bring in $56.2 million dollars this year. This year's revenues were $50.5 million, which was a 7.6 percent increase from 2012.
Property tax rates will not change under the budget. Winneshiek County taxpayers will contribute $448,000 to the hospital.
At a public hearing on the budget on Monday there were a few questions, but no comments on the b udget.
