New laundromat is now open in Decorah

Decorah's new laundromat--Short Street Laundry--has opened in the former K & S strip mall on Short Street.

The new laundromat has 11 washers and 10 dryers.  Of those. there is one large capacity washer and one large capacity dryer that can handle oversized loaders, such as a comforter from a king bed.

The laundromat offers free WiFi to its customers and has a handicapped accessible restroom.
