Decorah HS speech students do well at State Individual Speech Meet

23 of Decorah High School's Individual Speech performances won top ratings over the weekend, including 18 which received perfect scores from all three judges.

The participants were coached by Amanda Huinker and assisted by Molly Holkesvik.  They competed on Saturday at Starmont High School.

36 Decorah students participated in 39 performances at the contest. 

All-State nominations should be announced either late Monday or early Tuesday.  The Individual All-State Festival will be held Monday, March 25th, on the University of Northern Iowa's campus.
