UPDATE: deadline passed to donate money to John Cline project

Many people do not realize that many teachers spend their own money so that their classrooms can have the supplies needed to enhance instruction.  But larger items are often out of the reach of their personal budgets. 

So John Cline Elementary School  First Grade teacher Linda Hemesath has turned to www.donorschoose.org to generate the money--$1,028 for an ELMO document camera.  Information about the project is available at http://www.donorschoose.org/donors/search.html?state=IA&community=3652:3.  However, the donation deadline is 11:00 p.m. Thursday.

In the past seven years, teachers in the Decorah School District have utilized this website to raise $9,540 in donations, funding 20 projects.
