Decorah teachers begin contract talks Thursday

Representatives of the Decorah Education Association will meet with the Decorah School Board at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at the school district's Central Administration Office.

The teachers will present their initial proposal for the 2013-2014 master agreement with the Decorah Community School District.  A second meeting will be held later in March for the school board to present its initial counteroffer.
