Winneshiek County Beef Queen, Beef Princess named

The Winneshiek County Cattlemen have named new beef royalty for 2013.
Selected at the Beef Banquet over the weekend were Beef Queen Carlee Knutson of Ossian, the daughter of Ron and Amy Knutson of Ossian, and Beef Princess Kelly Rue, the daughter of Kelvin and Donna Rue of Ridgeway.
The Winneshiek County Cattlemen also awarded $1,000 scholarships to Micayla Christopher and Chandler Luzum and $500 scholarships to Eric Fulsaas and Miranda Schnitzler.
