A hearing on the hospital's FY '14 budget has been scheduled for 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 13th, in Conference Room B-3 on the lower level of the hospital. At that time the hospital board will get public input on the proposed budget, which calls for $51,414, 466 in receipts and $51,055,109 in spending. By contrast, the hospital spent $46,179,983 during 2012-2013.
The 2013-2014 budget calls for raising $448,307 in property taxes. This year's budget had $429,716 in property tax receipts, meaning the revenue will go up by $18,591, or 4.3 percent. But the increase does NOT reflect a mill rate increase.
