Another finalist for the job of Luther College President, Dr. Ann Hill Duin, will be on campus through Tuesday.
Duin serves as professor of writing studies and director of graduate studies for the Scientific and Technical Communication Program in the College of Liberal Arts at the University of Minnesota.
Duin earned the Bachelor of Arts degree in music education, with a minor in English, from Luther College (1977) and both a Master of Arts (1983) and doctoral degree (1986) in curriculum and instruction from the University of Minnesota.
Duin has held numerous leadership roles in academic administration at the University of Minnesota, including interim vice president for information technology and chief information officer; and senior associate dean, College of Food, Agriculture, and Natural Resource Sciences. Among the accomplishments of her leadership include the development and implementation of strategic plans, an IT leadership and governance system, new academic programs and student services, and shared leadership in the creation of a new College of Food, Agriculture, and Natural Resource Sciences.
Staff, students and professors will have two opportunities to meet with Dr. Duin on Monday afternoon.
