Trails From Freeport receives another donation

The Trails From Freeport organization continues to have success in raising funds for the extension of the Trout Run Trail to Freeport.

The latest donation comes from Black Hills Energy, which has made a $750 donation to the group.  Trails from Freeport has now raised nearly $90,000 towards the cost of a trail.

The group is also making plans for a Mabe's pizza fundraiser.  The event will be held Tuesday, February 19th from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. and again from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.. 

The group says it hopes to break ground for the trail this spring.
