Winneshiek Medical Center Board may invite Ossian leaders to the next board meeting

The Board of Trustees of Winneshiek Medical Center will meet at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday in Conference Room B-3 on the lower level of the hospital.

Among the items board members will discuss is whether to invite Ossian leaders to the WMC Board's March meeting.  Gundersen Lutheran announced previously it would close the Gundersen Lutheran-Ossian Clinic in March with the retirement of Dr. Ignatius Greene.  Members of the Ossian Crown Club are drafting a petition to present to Winneshiek Medical Center asking the hospital board to approve opening an outreach clinic in Ossian.
