13 Decorah HS speech groups chosen as All-State

13 speech groups from Decorah High School have won All-State honors.  The groups were chosen late Monday afternoon, based on their performances over the weekend in Dubuque at the Northeast Iowa State Large Group Speech Contest.  Nine of the 13 groups will perform February 16th at All-State at Iowa State University.

DHS Varsity speech groups receiving performance nominations included choral reading, one-act play, one ensemble acting, one solo mime, one musical theater, two radio broadcasting, one short film, and television news. Cast lists for those groups are as follows:
