Chamber of Commerce is offering ag scholarships

The Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce has scholarship applications available for high school seniors attending school in Winneshiek County and NICC agriculture students.  

The $350 scholarship will be awarded to students that show a passion for agriculture, the community, and learning. High school applicants must plan to study agriculture in their post high school education, and NICC applications must be enrolled in an agriculture program. One high school and one NICC scholarship will be awarded.  Applications are available online at www.decorahareachamber.com/agriculture, at the Chamber office located at 507 West Water Street Decorah and by calling 563-382-3990.  

The deadline for applications is February 28th.  All scholarships must be postmarked by that date or delivered to the Chamber by 5 p.m. for consideration.  

Winners will be notified in advance with award recognition to take place at the 12th annual Ag Appreciation Luncheon on March 20th.
