Vesterheim Executive Director Steve Johnson welcomes Tom Murray to the museum

Vesterheim Norwegian-American Museum is expanding its Development Office.

Longtime Luther College Development Officer Tom Murray—who recently retired from his job at the college—has agreed to work part-time at Vesterheim as a "Resource Development Officer."

Murray will meet with museum members and others to strengthen the museum's major gift program.  He will work with Development Director Steve Grinna and Vesterheim Executive Director Steve Johnson in making the contacts.  Murray worked for 24 years at Luther on similar tasks.

Murray serves on the boards of three other non-profit organizations--The Iowa Driftless Chapter of Trout Unlimited, The Friends of the Decorah Fish Hatchery, and Winneshiek County Conservation.
