Waukon business wins regional "Dream Big, Grow Here Contest"

WW Homestead Dairy of Waukon has been selected as the Northeast Iowa Region "Dream Big Grow Here" winners.

The dairy wins a $5,000 grant, which it will use to purchase a new ice cream dipping cabinet for their retail location at 850 Rossville Road in Waukon.

WW Homestead Dairy will advance to compete to win an additional $10,000 in a state-wide contest March 7th and 8th in Cedar Rapids.

The "Dream Big Grow Here" contest is aimed at encouraging economic development in Iowa.  The regional contest is sponsored in part by the Northeast Iowa Business Network, which consists of the economic development offices in Allamakee, Clayton, Howard, Delaware and Winneshiek counties.
