Changes may be coming to the front of Decorah City Hall

The Decorah City Council next month will be asked to approve some changes to the front of City Hall.

The fountain in front of City Hall has begun to settle, so city officials want to remove the fountain and put in landscaping or a gazebo in place of the fountain.  Also, changes are being recommended to be made to the concrete driveway in front of the fire station and to the entrance to the fire station.  Finally, city officials would like to remove the diagonal road in front of the entrance to City Hall and have all traffic routed through the Claiborne Drive/Heivly Street intersection.
