State Senator Michael Breitbach is sworn into office

Michael Breitbach is officially a State Senator.  Breitbach, a Republican from Strawberry Point, was sworn into office earlier this week.  He will represent the newly-established District 28 which encompasses Allamekee and Clayton Counties as well as the northern half of Fayette County and the southeastern portion of Winneshiek County.
 
"I'm honored to serve District 28 in the Iowa Senate.  I look forward to working with my fellow legislators on important issues facing Iowans," said Breitbach, who will serve on the Senate Natural Resources and Environment, Transportation, and Commerce Committees.
